Description:
With the losses incurred during the Dominion War, starfleet used the opportunity to combine the best that the Galaxy class and Nebula class had to offer.
SInce both classes shared many of the same components, Starfleet decided to take the opportunity push the designs in a different direction.
WIth so many ships damaged during the war effort it seemed logical to combine remaining components together instead of rebuilding each individual ship.
An upgrade of the Galaxy Command Ship,to Heavy Battlecruiser would be first on the agenda. The Galaxy Heavy Battlecruiser is one of the most advanced starships in the Federation fleet.
During times of conflict, the Weapon pod is elevated above the saucer to deliver lethal Alpha strikes, and during normal operations is lowered which gives this ship a sleeker/stealthier profile.
Armed with the deadly mega phaser cannon, heavy shielding, and an advanced weapon pod, the Galaxy Heavy Cruiser is the equal of any warship fielded by the other major powers.

Dunno about the size of the warp core it would take for the bad boy ... but it is a nice bash !

I really like the weapon's pod that you made.

Interesting design concept MP. However. I would suggest one of two things concerning the weapons pod:
1) Either move it much higher than it currently is, or,
2) Make it a lot smaller and mount it on the very back of the saucer.
If you look at the side image if that ship fires its torpedos from that pod then they'll destroy half the saucer in the process. Not something I would relish.

moonraker did an updated version of this. You should use that one.

Unfortunately, SFC doesn't support animated models. I would recommend modeling this ship in its "battlemode" with the raised weapons pod since the whole reason you play SFC is to battle other ships.

I may or may not do it. Right now I'm swamped with requests LOL already :D. When I get through them I may come back to this one. I hope I'll be better at bashing by then ;)
