Hi ya Folks!,
I've just joined the site so hello to you all!! ;D
And so to my question, and it's a classic one, yep u guessed it , i can't get onto the Dynaverse Server.
I've have tried everything, forwarding all the relevant ports on my router and my firewall, and still the same error message - something about having NAT.
Now this would be OK, but I've even tried disabling my firewall and making the PC i play the game on a DMZ , (which, to my mind, should forward everything to my PC, anyway!).
I have a Netgear DG834 router/modem/firewall and also use the XP SP2 firewall.
Incidentally, I also have an belkin access point connected to my router, but have ruled this out because i connected a cable straight into the router.
Can anyone give me an indication of what i need to do, please.
N.B. Oh, I have also read the file found in the install directory and hasn't helped either.
Is it perhaps a Netgear issue, or something more?????.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and soz about the rather long post - but I've just gotta get it off my chest.
BTW: I have no problems connecting via Gamespy.
Thanks.

Have you read the Networking and Multiplayer readme?
Are you allowing pings, at all firewalls? (i.e. ICMP echo requests)
Have you read this post?:
