Title: Modeling Techniques

Hey all ,
i was wondering if any one has a tut on how to create a mesh in 3dmax so i can draw my own textures and
does anyone have a tut on creating illumination maps ,i use photoshop..

head on over to scifi-meshes.com  they have some good tuts there.  also try doing a google search for "box modeling 3dsmax)  you should come up w/ somthing.  as for illum maps, as long as you keep everything seperated in layers (such as windows and stuff that glows) you can put a black background behind it and save it as the lillum map (whatever_i.bmp)
