Was browsing the Firefox homepage, and saw the link fo the Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 (Deer Park), was wondering if anyone has tried out this beta, if so any cool new features added?
According to the site:
"Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 is now available for download. This is the first Beta release of our next generation Firefox browser, to be released later this year, and it is being made available to our developer and testing community for compatibility testing and to solicit feedback."

I used to try out all the new versions. heck, I've been using Firefox since it was Phoenix 0.5. I havn't bothered to try out this version yet though.

i've used firefox now for about a year and have no complaints...
as far as the beta goes, i would wait a bit on it. while it promises to be as ground-breaking as the first firefox, there are some 0dd things going on with this early beta. i would wait until at least beta 2 for you to try it.

I have used Firefox for about a year as well, and like it a lot. I'll wait until the full version come out, I don't like installing beta's of anything.

I used Opera for a few years, despite pressure to use Mozilla from co-workers... I just didnt like Moz; no real reason why.
Then my GF tried Ffox .9 something, and got me hooked on it.
Been using firefox since then

btw,
this has now gone beta 2. while no new feature appear to have been added, i do notice that a lot of the current content has been cleaned up and is functioning much better.
