I was bored, so I grabbed 2 more designs from the Starship Schematic Database..........

you missed those lateral sensors again...

interesting position with that pod on the bottom .... it's less likely to interfear with other stuff ( ie: shuttle bays )

Yes, the final evolutionary stage of Bulbasaur, which is one of the lead pokemon in the series (or atleast it was last I watched an ep).

you missed those lateral sensors again...
I did no tweeks to either secondary hull on the models I posted pics on so I dunno what ya mean.

I didn't design or name it. I just bashed it based on the schematic. This was the name and registry that came with the ship :P

Well, I am fairly certain that the pure white band around the edge of the saucer and the white square on the torpedo launcher just above both deflectors is in indicator if a missing or misnamed texture in the mesh or some kind of similar error. It's like the one I found before on that ship I tried to port to BC...the one i asked if you could bash from the sns, which btw did you ever managed to get and reverse from BC? I forgot what the heck the ship was now too..

I noticed that white spot as well and it appears on the original model. The ship ya wanted me to re-port is a mess. The mesh is fragmented at best when I open it with MS3d.

perhaps a texture is missed from the zip alltogether then? Because when it occoured in the preble there was a slot that was pcx file extension that is for that area, and as far as I know whenever you load a modfile in max and the textures are not in the folder with the model are changed to pcx instead of bmp in the material editor. Either that, or, you forgot a texture when you packed the preble and the original is an oddball size and thus not showing in your pix. Strange really.
And as for the sns gal, I will see if I can get ahold of scotchy and get him to send me the mesh pre-conversion. I am fairly certain he mentioned to me before about sfc ports so I will give him a pm right now.

some times we dont always have the sort of mesh we need to work with (for those of us who are still new a this part of the process) ..... so even when we bash the final product still has its limitations.

Damn! You have become a very prolific kitbasher. We should dub you "Darkdrone, Jr." Keep them coming off the assembly lines.
So are you able to light ships as well? I have a small number of already made kitbashes that would be greatly improved if they can be lit the Atrahasis' D10B with Atrahasis' C7 warp engines by TheVampireLestat comes to mind...

At this point I can't hold a candle to Darkdrone or Mackie when it comes to bashing. I can light the model if the original textures include light maps.I fixed the Preble, and the Leyte Gulf as well. Re-uploaded and re-posted at OutaLance. And speaking of coming KF...........stand-bye there are 4 models on the way today ;D
