Title: Needle in a haystack
Post by: Tantalus on October 19, 2005, 12:16:10 am
Geeze.. tracking some people down on the net I used to know is like finding a needle in a .. well haystack.

How are you all doing?  Since I last visited I got married!  That's what happens when you stop playing computer games :(  *sniff*

Married? You heathen! We (meaning them other guys like Hexx and Chuut..) are anti-women, unless it is Roxana Troi.(Speaking for Hexx and Chuut again...)

Good to see you again Tanty!

Yes I have a copy of the old SFC2.Net all zipped up.

I'm in Canada right now and I dont have any of the SFC2 series with me!  I dont suppose it's classed as abandonware now eh? :P

Coolness! Think you could password protect it and upload it to the SFC Community FTP (http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163360158.0.html)?

Or is it small enough you could mail it to Frey (http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2)?

Any interest in maintaining it again? (maybe Capt Jeff or Tracey are interested?) Anyways, it would be great to get the old content up and updated.

Hiya, Mr. Fancypants!!!!

It's good to hear from you again.  Congratulations on getting married; same thing happened to me since you were here last.  Now come on back with us.  The wives don't mind when we play.  Really, they don't.   :mischief:

It's on an old PC in the UK.. I'll see about getting my friend to acquisition it and upload it.  As for maintaining it... I would rather not commit to that.  As long as the proper acknowledgements are made on the site and its content I have no issue handing it over for someone to maintain.  My friend and I put alot of time onto that site.. it's just a shame we never got a chance to finish off all the races.

Has anyone even heard from BBJones at all?

Wives are OK for SFC. But, not the dogs.

My dog gets mad if I play before 10pm.  He prefers I play with him instead of playing SFC. After 10pm he's sleepy, so it's all good. Then, he gets up at 7am and wants a walk.

I'll thank you both kindly to get rid of that thrice-damned emblem, I have relatives who died in the Holocaust.

Pic removed, just ease up on the spelling corrections Josh, if we cared enough we'd use spellcheck  ;)

There you go muffin.
Nothing feels better than pulling out the jew card does it?
Before you get on that high horse again... I am one. Just sick of the "my great grand daddy was oppressed/ killed/ belittled so you can't say that" stuff.
Stop playing the victim and get on with life... you weren't oppressed, your ancesestor was.
See a swastika on the wall? Paint it over. Catch the punk doing it... well if you don't get caught it ain't assault.
Be pro-active.
Close with and destroy the enemy... don't whine about it.

Either stop with this line of conversation or a Moderator please lock it.

I dont like seeing threads I start turn into petty flaming.. I would have expacted it 3 years ago.. not today.

Haha  ;D
Hey but theres no business like shoah business.
Its profitable in either money and/or sympathy, I'll be damned if there wont be people after the next 100 years who will still insist that they are holycause survivors and/or have relatives who were. :P
