Title: Question on Fighters Fast Patrol Ships

Should I make just one version for all, or each seperate version of the Fighters and Fast Patrol Ships?.

The choice is yours, personally I like individual downloads.

I would actually prefer different...because they are supposed to be different sizes...a fighter is at most a two person craft...while a PF can have a crew of 20-40...  In SFB... a Fighter is represented by 8 to 20 hit/hull/damage boxes.   A PF has its own mini SSD, and they have to do energy allocation...as fighter do not...   Also I think that the shuttle should be different that the fighters as well, and maybe have a hydran flavor/shape...

It'd be easy enough for us to alter the textures and model size to have a pf/ftr model from one mesh, but a model that has a slightly different mesh would be idea. ;)

Well if you go by the shapes on the SSD's, and the occasional drawing in the books and the Captains Log's...they (Fighter vs PF) are substantially different in shape...
