Pix in a separate file. Needs a modder, comes in 3ds formatt and textures with lightmaps are in tga.

;D Wow! That really is different. Must be very hard to take out the saucer.
Thanks for sharing this.

Downloaded and converted... just hp/dp'ing, so it should be up by tomorrow evening. :)

I was beginning to wonder if I was going to need to post the fixed one from major payne. It's going to end up in armada too. ;D

Imagine an X era Fed Mauler ship...
-
'Kay, it's done...
Starforce, do you have a list of credts for this ship that I can put into the ship's archive before I upload it?
I don't want to be putting in "Modeller: unknown", "Textures:unknown/atheorhaven", etc...
-
Soon as I can catch him on msn again, usualy ever day or so, I'll let ya know. I think it was all done by captain tombs but I'll ceck to be sure.

looks like she converted well. I am the creator btw, just checking to see how she is shaping :). I am not disappointed.

Very nice ship. Thanks for letting us port her to SFC ;D

Thanks cpthooker for letting us do this over here. Had it's tricky parts to do, but not too much different than one of Mackie's meshes coming over from Lightwave. :D
SFC will also give the benefit of giving the ship colored illumination maps, which you could then b&w if you'd like to reconvert over to BC.

it wasn't already lit?

The TGA files work in BC, but not in SFC. They had to be converted over to BMP files, and from there, illumination textures needed to be created. Bit of work, but wasn't too rough. :)

well done then :) when will she be ready do you think?
The bridge commander model is nearly done, just a few hp issues.

Got it completed and uploaded last night to Battleclinic late (so I wasn't able to post about it until now).

If anyone would like a SFC 1 version, just let me know. :D
-
Absolutely, my friend! Right now, my shiplists (well, my models got deleted by accident and I haven't the gumption for quite some time now to fish through my CDROMs for all of those many models I put in over time!) for both SFC2s are toast. All I've been playing is SFC1.
-
man that thing does look mean. A good example of how ugly can work. :o
-
Great job cpthooker and Alec!! :o I agree with SF2...in this case ugly and mean are synonymous. ;D
-
ugly :o

will this be able to work in SFC3?

will this be able to work in SFC3?
yes. I don't think there is any difference in mod format between the 3 sfc versions, I think most of the changes were engine related (for alighting and what not)

ok thanks

Almost... drop a SFC 2 mesh into SFC 1, and you'll get a CTD as soon as you load that ship. You have to go in and strip out the illumination maps with a modelling program and reexport the mesh back to .MOD, and then your game will load the ship with or without the physical textures being in the directory or not. :)

ihave been trying to add this to sfc 3 but not having any luck, i have read a tutorial, but could not understand it.
Any help please?
