Personally, I don't think they need to be included. It will keep the battlefield even, we won't have to worry about seperate C7 accounts, whether a house leader is on or not, losing one to something other than battle, etc...besides, just like the specialty units, the Deep Space Fleet would never let such prime units to be used in a civil war, they would be needed to protect the borders of the Empire.
Comments?

I think they should be allowed, just assigned to one player...period...no transfer, except for some RL emerg. maybe, if that player would be completely unable to fly at all.
-
C7 = IN
-
What Krueg said.
It might not be realistic to have them in a civil war, but it will be a boring server without capital ships.
-
The C7's are being included as it's kinda a mix to represent the Vorcha's of TNGish
(where the idea originated obviously) and SFB (what we actually use for background)
SFBwise it wouldn't actually be houses competing it would be the Admiral's with their
fleets (klinks don't really have noble houses in SFB)
The insanely strict loss rules for them will (hopefully) mean they won't be used 24/7
and will actually give the loss of a capital ship meaning.
And as the D7w isn't that far behind in combat power should mean that a side
that loses a C7 won't be at a huge disadvantage.
-
I think they should be IN. Where else would you put one other than a Klingon Civil War? ;)
-
I think them an unnecessary crutch, but it will be fun bringing one down. just keep them to usage by the head of house only, no transfers period. I mean with Kreug, Dfly, etc flying them how long couls they last ;D
-
Hadn't consider this, but as such they are relatively unnecessary. If it isn't diffcult to implement, in. If not, out.
-
i hope we can leave em in, i'm hoping for my chance to take down some of these "house leaders" with a good wing or two
-
LOL so much fuss.i liek the idea of them being in,and agree with them being assigned to one player only.whether house leader or not,so long as they are non transferable, except in exceptional circumstances.ie:family issues, power outtages of more than 2 days ect ect
-
Ditch the C7, lets play real klingons and use F5s, D6s and D7s, after all they were the mainstay with D5s a little later.

Who says I'm gonna fly one...?
After all, I'm not the House Leader.... ;)
-
Are we still planning on being able to challeng our own leader of our house for control of it or a ship, say a C7? hehehehe
edit: boy I hope so, I'd challenge my leader for the right to fly that C7. I bet I could do it in a D7W. :flame:
-
Necessary No --
However as someone already posted -- there is a bit of a thrill factor in hunting one down using a d7w ... for that reason alone I would say keep them in ..
-
Either way I do not feel it is a big deal. I'm cool with them in or out, don't think it makes that much of a difference.
-
I'd keep them in, but not limit their use to a house leader. King Arthur had Lancelot, let each house put forth its own champion to fly the C7. It makes it much more fun to kill: for example, a true Klink like Kreug or Saxon would be more rewarding than just grabbing Hexx. :drink:
-
???
Of course it would be more rewarding,
you might actually be able to kill them .
C7's are in,one per house.
They'll probably have the option of being
transferred to a champion if the Leader doesn't want or
isn't able to fly one.

Unlike your bounty rules, you actually make sense on this one. +1 for you for having a sense of humor. ;)
