Post by: Terradyhne on December 25, 2005, 01:25:22 pm
i need some Maesron, Jindarian and Paravian original SSDs no fan designs, if this is possible or have the makers of the SFB game a problem with it
the SFB modules aren't available in europe so i had to order them in the USA and that is to expensive for me

There has just been a discussion on copyright and legality on this forum, could we get an opinion from the people who have looked into this issue.  Also, would posting scans of the SSD's to this forum be different then sending scans to an E-Mail address?

Well I was dissuaded from hosting them, so I think it's kinda frowned upon.

Here's the legal claimer in the SSD book.

"Purchasers of this product have permission of the copyright holder to make a reasonable number of copies of these SSDs for their own personal use or for use in tournaments. Reproduction for sale is not authorised."

I've never seen anyone from ADB come storming in here because people are sharing a few SSDs. Lots of requests for SSDs have been posted. I've had someone ask if I had a particular SSD to share with them, and have done it. I've also had people ask me to copy entire modules. I don't do that.

There is another possible solution though. I believe that SFB on line makes available most of the SSDs, on line, to their subscribers. I'm not sure exactly what subscription costs. $30.00 a year seems to ring a bell though. You might want to check it out.
