Title: Can someone tell me how to get my p/c to

forget old numbers and passwords and crap? On my Scottrade acct I mis a digit by one number and now when I go in it tries to put that number up for grabs, it's very irritating to say the least.

You need to tell your browser to delete all temporary internet files. 

In I.E.
Click Tools
Then Click Internet Options
Then click Delete Cookies
Then click  Delete Temporary files and check the delete all offline content button

That may not do it.

In IE:
Try: Tools.. Internet Options.. Content Tab.. AutoComplete Button.. Clear Passwords Button.. Clear Forms Button (if needed)..
This will allow you to retain your cookies and cache if desired.

In FireFox:
Tools.. Options.. Saved Forms Tab.. Ckear Saved Forms Data Now Button.
