UK Cable 1.8Mbps (NTL) Supposed to be 2Mbps.

Satelite of course. Only thing really available with any kind of speed out here. Kinda curious If anyone else is using Satelite also.

I have a 512 line-of-sight wireless solution from my rural cable company through nuwave internet. Once in the house, I have 1GB wireless connecting all the PC's through a router.

I'm using a T1 connection in my dorm room to connect me to the Texas A&M campus network.

How the heck do you play games on satellite??????
You must get ping times in the thousands!
-
Satellite internet service is not compatible with multiplayer gaming. (yes the ping times are guaranteed to be >500ms)
-
Actually, on the wireless (it's not satellite) I do okay with games like Delta Force online. I very seldom get lagged.
-
I still have dialup, will soon have DSL. HEHEHEHE!!!!! ;D
-
The sad point about games, IS I don't unless I solo like in WoW or the like.
