I just bought a DNet 1GHZ Wireless G and it runs fine. I've owned Netgear and Lynksys routers and truthfully haven't noticed a ton of functional difference.

Linksys WRT-54G is a good router.
-
I have no real issues with the Netgear WGT 624, unless I try it in the fastest mode (receivers too far away).

No experience with routers just yet. But hopefully this time tomorrow I'll be back online and can let you know if the Linksys WRT54GS is easy enough to setup. Just got it today. Unpacking it now.
Folks, say a prayer for me. I'm going in! :o

i found that linksys one pretty easy to set up... of course i have cable at home and i didn't have to put that extra stuff dsl makes you use in.....but once that was done it was just a matter of connecting to the wirless, which in itself is relativly painless

Its alive!!
Damn easy to setup. And of course easier to screw up the easy stuff. Didn't realize I was maxed out on electrical outlets. Had to unplug the cable modem at one point and it never reset correctly. Had horror moment as Router Setup Wizard told me 4 times in a row that internet connection couldn't be established. Had to completely unplug modem and start it back up to succeed.
Getting 75-100% strength from Tivo adapter 25' away, through one wall, past a 24.GHz wireless phone bass unit, and through a flower pot.
I'd recommend it, at least based on the last 2 hours of use.
