Title: Can someone please put a simple explanation of what Active X is?

I'm a dumbarse on those things, all I know is I use Windows XP and I have it, but I'm glad cause myself and others can watch the oldie but goodie videos on MTV Overdrive.  :)

#1) ActiveX is why Internet Explorer is insecure.
