Title: Need a good movie to watch at home this weekend?
Post by: Jack Morris on February 17, 2006, 06:21:27 am
Check out "Skeleton Key." It rocks!

http://www.theskeletonkeymovie.com/

XXX State of the Union sucked, IMHO, as the Bradley gets hit in the rear by an M-1 and all it does is minimal damage and make the rear ramp fall down? Yeah right... Also the car scene chasing the bullet train on the tracks was B.S. too.

I'll be watching "Dark Water" tonight.

Feel free to add any other good rentals you might know about.

I didnt like Skeleton Key. The Exorcism of Emily Rose was much better IMHO.

I agree, I found it hokey and predictable.

LOL, darn good film, I still need to send my copy to Steelspringer.

Jack, you actually liked Lords of war? See I thought that was the worst 20 bucks I had ever spent.

Ya'll have HEB grocery stores in OK? They have a rental machine (Like a coke thing or CD jukebox) where movies are only 1.08 and no late fees! I prefer to rent than buy, if I like it, well... CD burners were not created just to sit inside your P/C for nothing ya know...

I enjoyed Lord of War, then again I'm a Nicholas Cage fan. He does very well at picking good scripts to work with. Plus Jerry loves having him star in his movies.

Did you know Lord of War was produced independently and Nicholas Cage directed it?

Heh, I think we will just have to agree to disagree again.  ;D there's always valleyGirl.  ;)

They did not say the U.S. was the biggest. All five permanent security council members were listed at the end. I did some research, after the fall of the Soviet Empire, it turns out that indeed 32 billion dollars of arms were "lost" within 10 years!

Jack, dont eat or drink anything while watching it or it'll end up comming out of your nose. When they replace one of the guard's steroids with estrogen and he starts talking about his sore nipples and wanting to cry with one of his team mates is hilarious! I laughed all the way through this movie. I laughed so hard my ribs hurt.
