Oh yeah, make room on the bandwagon for me. I like this design, the rollbar looks perfectly in it's place and I like the shape and location of the deflector dish.

However I've not now nor have I ever liked the lit blue ring on the dish, saw it in "Enterprise" disliked it immediately, don't know why just seems an over complication of a simple metallic wire mesh, just my opinion.

Also why the copper coloring on the rear of the engine "ball" as opposed to the usual white or pale bluish-white? Was this by design or was it just part of an original texture?

I'm sorry about your grandmother, I lost mine Christmas Eve 2001 and nothings really the same anymore, although I dreamt of her last night. I'll take a dream hug over the usual emptiness any day.

i would integrate the dish with the saucer section more like make it built in and not hanging on a bloody thread...

that in mind ... it would be best to reshape the deflector dish it self so it would be more in confines of the hull... and reshaping the front of the saucer section just so the reshaped dish would fit more comfortably with it
