U.S.S. Supremus NCC-82322
Supremus Class Long range Explorer

Owner : United Federation of Planets
Class : Capital Ship
Availability : Unlimited Deployment
In Service : 2380's
Out of Service :n/a
-------------
A late 2380's design built for long range exploration duties with limited support, and full multimission capability.
Unlike many new Starfleet designs, which feature radically more advanced technology, Supremus utilizes the best of 24th century design and technology, delivering a highly effective vessel, built to be extremely durable and simple to operate and repair in the field.
The Supremus Class is packed with scientific technology, and space is at a premium.
As a result, there is only enough room for one impulse engine, and one shuttlebay.
Many of these non redundant systems are armoured, and built to operate even after suffering extensive damage.

In my opinion, something like this ship (which I've seen before) should've been what the Sovereign-class looks like. A bit of redesign a bit maybe (maybe not) and you get something just as good-looking yet within the TNG-era lineage of Starship design.
Anyhow, nice to see it come to SFC.
-
From certain angles, it looks great, but from others it looks...stunted.
-
from the pic it looks good but its one more fed and thats *borring* *LOL*
-
I believe it's an Intrepid refit.
-
If that's intended as a refit, then Starfleet did a heck of a job making the class starship look almost entirely different from its original appearance than when they refitted the Constitution-class in 2271.
-
Could I have permission to make this puppy playable in SFC 3?
-
Ought to run over to BCU and look at the Sh*t Curtis has comming. There's a sweet ass lost era in there, atleast I assume it's somewhere in the general time of the Amby.

I believe 9th Daihak aka Centaurus has already completed and SFC 3 version(with HP) and like myself has just been waiting on permissions to release it.

Actually I haven't worked on any ships other than the Chabot as of late. I did port the Supremus over to SFC actually when it came out, but only for my personal use, and only for a few MAX renders, which I didn't save. These days with school, all I can do is post for the most part, nothing more.

:P OK I stand corrected.

Looks great... good Job.

I like it. Unfortunately, the lightmaps aren't working.

Oops my bad I forgot to add the SFC2 model, as I set it up for SFC 1 as well. BUT it's fixed now ;D
-
Thanks. Much better now. 8)

This model continues to impress. Fantastic work.
Would love to see his take on a Galaxy or Sov rebuild.
-
I thought that was a galaxy and a sov put together?

Sovereign maybe... but where the hell do you see a Galaxy Class in the Supremus?

Color scheme/hull plate style is closer to the gal than the sov, window style, saucer is not streamlined but instead rounder, and it doesn't have sov style phasers. Plus it looks more artistic than mean.
-
Actually it looks more like a Federation Starship than a fanboy ship, and I'd argue that the less detailing/bumps/crevices it has on the saucer (as opposed to the Sovereign-class) makes it more streamlined and also in line with the general design lineage of Federation Starship Design. I'd argue a design similar to this could be more qualified as a Fed ship than the official Sovereign-class, but I guess in the end it comes more into taste. Assuming we'd disagree on this and agreeing it's more of taste, I guess agreeing to disagree is the best way to go.
