Downloaded Adobe Acrobat 7.0 a few days ago to printout my tax-forms. Noticed a very annoying glitch. The Acrobat Reader icon installed itself dead-center on my screen and I don't want it there; but whenever I try to move the icon it only partially moves and then the drag function locks up the computer until I do a Task Manager Shut / End Task.
This doesn't happen to any other icon I try to move.
Anybody know how to fix something like that?

Find out where the adobe software engineers live and then break in, in the middle of the night and hold their cat hostage.
Now, I know what you're thinking, why not just hold the dudes wife hostage. That might work, except we're talking about software engineers, they don't have wifes.
Now if holding his cat hostage doesn't work, you can get the same effect by stealing his collection of star wars and/or star trek action figures.

Burning his Punisher comics 1 copy at a time also is effective.

I'd uninstall Acrobat 7 and report the issue to Adobe, requesting remuneration for your valuable feedback. ;)
I find Acrobat more and more irritating these days... "portable document format" my ass. More like how to rape your system resources in one easy click. Kinda like java's supposed platform independence... ::)

That is why it is so effective as a threat.

Hey guys...found an alternative to Adobe...check out Foxit Reader at www.foxitsoftware.com (http://www.foxitsoftware.com). Also, if you need to create pdf files, check Sourceforge for PDF Creator.

On that trian of thought I need to add that the install program also brought along a program called Adobe Photoshop which I saw no mention of on the download site, perhaps it was crammed somewhere into the license agreement but I wouldn't know. And yes, its icon is unmoveable as well.
And as for whatever train Punisher's mind is riding, can we get the driver to switch onto the siding that leads directly to the Acrobat programmers house? I have this funny image of a train barrelling toward that house as Pun leans out the side yelling "Whoo Whooo" with a maniacs' grin.

You downloaded the loaded version of reader. You need to rip it out and try again. Download without the tool bar and the Photoshop photo organizer that is loaded in. The bare reader with no extras comes in @ 20.4mb not 27mb.
