Ducky and I bid on the same ship and it gave us both the ship.....the same ship.
The result is that I logged off and back on and had no ship whatsoever. I was able to buy a ship, but it now shows me as having 2 ships and charged me for the bogus ship as well......
Attempted to buy and HR1 and got charged but got no ship. To other people it shows it is there, however it doesn't show up on my screen, and I can't buy a second ship even to do a swap out.
Can this be fixed.....please (choke) :huh:

I'll do a DB clean and see if that fixes it for you. Let me know if it doesn't.

Not that it matters to me personally, but what about the lost prestige? That affects more than myself.

I tried using Evid Dave's database editor to remove the second ghost ship, but the editor already doesn't work on the DB. (It always stops working a day or two in, but I was hopeful it would still be good.) I'm sorry, but editing ships is *hard*, so I haven't programmed it into my editors yet.
Go ahead and get the second account. I'll add what you had above your starting level to your new account, plus what you spent on the invisible ship.

HB - I found the problem that was causing the lockups in my editor (or at least one of the problems). It wasn't handling AVtPreparedMissions, so would run fine until a db save happened to include some of those then would crap out completely.
I've run a fix on that and things seem ok if you want to try some experimenting. I'll upload the revised editor and source code shortly.
EDIT: I've uploaded the new exe, http://www3.telus.net/NuclearWessels/sfc/downloads/EDDBEDIT.exe, will zip the new source tonight when I get home from work.
