Title: Directory Servers?
Post by: Riskyllama on May 22, 2006, 03:23:07 pm
Are directory servers down? I get about halfway through the login process and then everything stops. On a possibly related/unrelated note, TS seems to be acting kinda slow, staticy.

I have noticed some slowness on the network today. I'll look into it.

Lemme check the direcory server in my OP client here and I'll get back to ya.

I get past the firewall check but the serverlist does not seem to come up on login... having a hard time posting here too. I suspect our network issue may have returned.  :(

Lemme try kicking the directory server, perhaps it got hung up on a lost packet or something.

I have restarted the Directory Servers but the network is positively glacial. I could barely work over remote desktop. We might have troubles until we can inform the ISP of the return of the connection problems.

My theory, it was the Canadians fault.  They had a national holiday and asked Econ Wars be extended a day and look what happens.

Has to be a terrorist plot, after all with NHL playoffs going on now, what real Canadian would care if a SFC server was up or not, these aren't Canadians but Al Queda transplants and they have sabatoged the system  :P

Long live the Queen!  ;D (Because the new King will be an embarrasment.)

Hockey playoffs are on? I'm such a total non-jock, I have no clue, I rarely can sit through a whole sporting event of any kind. Curling seems to hold more interest for me than hockey though so there must be some pure Canuck in there... I was busy watching Farscape last night.  8)

Additional network issues have been identified by the ISP, we should get a status update today. Thanks for your patience all. We will get this sorted out.
