Depends on what era you're mainly focusing your efforts on.  Personally, I'm partial to the first TOS.

I have to go with LeRoy on this, I like the Enterprise version. The original is a product of its time and the marketing to North America only. The Enterprise version is also a product of its time and shows the world wide marketing with the quarter turn to bring Europe, Africa, and even parts of Asia into view. I don't think you would go wrong using either or even both.
 
 I find TOS2 to be bleh. The sword/dagger looks like something I would find stuck in some fruit in some blender drink.
