Its slow and I for one don't like going to those quickshare sites... too much hassel, wait 30 seconds to download.

Would rather just click a link, download at 500KBs and be done in 10 seconds.

Roger, I never tested it, I just assumed it was fast as I cannot tell anyway. It takes me 40 minutes to download 6 MB no matter where it is coming from.  I'll use the info you sent me to upload the next version to be mirrored. (which will take 40-50 minutes to upload as well as the copy here so a total of about 100 minutes to upload the installer to two locations) Thanks SyFlyer, its much appreciated.

(cant wait 30 seconds... boy are you spoiled!  :P   ;))

P.S. Where are you getting 4Mbps upstream?  :o  And how much does it cost annually?

upstream?

No. I get 2mbps downstream thats burstable to 4mbps.

On average I get 260kbps download.

However, I've had people download files off of my server at 700kbps.

Ahh you mean the server... I got it at ipowerweb.com, it costs around $100 a year.

However, they are somewhat restrictive in their php.ini (they only allow 2mb files to be uploaded by php).

I'm currently looking for a new host.
