Dizzy is supposed to have the Keys to the Forge....

I think it needs a DB clean as well, from what I've heard.

I cant log on. It has been brought to Frey's attention, I'm sure it will be fixed sometime this weekend.

directory server down?  :huh:  The prompt is firewall on line one and then on line 2, failed to locate directory server, contact system administrator.  :(

Seems my access to Thor server has been terminated without any notification from Frey. I cannot help anymore.

Forge is still down

... actually - it seems to be the directory servers - though functionally that's the front door

Server wont come up in the campain selector screen. Checked the webmap to see if anyone is online and it shows Ternado and Chewbacca in mission. I think they are ghosted because they haven't come out of mission for a while. Both are in different hexes.

Hmmmm,

I got excited a few minutes ago when i saw there were 2 people on.... sadly, i then read Kaz's post  :(   well, at least i'm not getting the firewall message and the directory servers are up.  Who's gonna kick the Forge in it's arse and get er up again??

Just an FYI for folks needing a Forge fix

I've put up my server Bartok's Basement for a little while - i'm using the Forge shiplist and gfs and the "EarlyMap.mvm" - year is 2308 so you can get an X-Ship fix.  So - if you sign on via the Forge (assuming you've got a separate install and shortcut for it) you can fly a few - starting pp is 7000

It'll be up for an hour or so - perhaps a little more, can't keep it up 24/7 right now - it's mostly for those needing a fix.  Needless to say, no OCI or any of the nifty niceness we've come to enjoy from the Forge, but maybe that will be back sooner than later....

well the OCI is available again for the forge...shows han solo and soth in missions since the 28th of october...which explains why i didnt find the server in the campaign selector...

saw a ED warp missions test server though...but it died before i got a chance to run a mission...

does anyone have the ability to get the forge up and running other than dizzy?

i know he's got the key and all but doesnt anyone else have the ability to plug in and fix it?

can we please get a reboot to eliminate ghosted characters?

been like this for a few days now...

would be nice to not have to continue making new gsa accounts only to have them ghosted...

figured i try to ask again in this thread since it didnt get noticed in the main forge thread...

i think that has to do with using a specific target to start OP

or a crappy install
