Title: Back from a 2-year hiatus, essentials for EAW/OP?

Finished ST:Tactical Assault and it's inspired me to play EAW/OP again.  What have I missed in the past couple of years as far as essential downloads? Saw the OP Enhancement Package 4.0 is available.  Anyone have a link to a faster mirror too?  Thanks!

Not many people play EAW anymore.  OP has really taken center stage.  The only essential, as far as upgrades for OP, is the OP 4.0+ Enhancement Package.  It will patch you up to current standards (2552) and make you more-or-less multiplayer compatible.  If I understand correctly, it will also update your server something-or-other to enable online play in general.  Or something like that.
