I was trying to get my server up and running and I was fooling around and discovered something truely stunning...

Win2K server has SFC /scannow. <SHOCK!! SHOCK!! SURPRISE!!> :o :o :o :o :)

SFC stands for something else perhaps?

It stands for Systiem File Checker. :)

If and when I find my cd I cant do one just yet. :)

Usually when I get to the point where I have to use SFC, I ain't calling it System File Checker.  Usually I thinking of Stupid F*@(%#& Computer...    :D

System File Checker has been around since at least Win98SE, I know as I've been using and recommending it since then.  Great for finding and replacing corrupted files.

What's the matter with you guys?

"SFC" stands for Starfleet Command... AND NOTHING ELSE!!
