Title: I am now having trouble w/ OP on my laptop
Post by: IAF Lyrkiller on May 31, 2007, 01:41:17 pm
Ok, I updated my drvers for my video card on my laptop, did a "sfc /scannow" not to long ago. And when I run OP I get this:

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do next?

The screenshot is when I reinstalled OP. It is unpatched.

you don't have the resolution of the game set higher then you do your computer do you?

I know that can cause problems.

That happens all the time on my laptop.

Do you by chance have shared video memory?  I found that that was what was causing the problems on my laptop, so i just wrote off ever playing OP on my Laptop.

there is a Primary Harware setting and a Software setting for video , try alternating between them and see what you get. Also you can try to set the compatability mode for the SFC program in case its something there.....

Let me know if I can help you......
