Frigga had to be restarted last night, and the directory servers were not reinitialized when it was brought back up. I'll let Braxton/Frey know so they can bring it back up.

I just tried logging in and got an error message saying that a whole stack of files were missing, including the fighter and ship lists ... ?!?!?

that isnt related to the directory servers heh. That just means your install is not correct for whichever server you were trying to join, and you need to be sure your install is up to date with what scripts the server is running on etc.

Well, he was on the Forge with me yesterday.
Maybe he had accidently clicked on the wrong server...?

I've made no changes to my game or configuration and this is what I'm getting when I try to login ...

Weird...I was on with you yesterday.
Today, was able to log in without any issues as well.
Best best is to simply rerun the installers, which should still be in your main SFC file.
I'm at a loss to explain it, Graak.

Fixed, repaired and properly hacked the game again .. sorry for the trouble and I'm still at a loss as to what happened, but I'm back in. Beware mortals
