Title: FoaS-made Taldren-TMP-Inspired TOS/Pre-TOS Lyran Ship.

Hows that for a title?
I'm at my girlfriends, and she has a scanner, thus I can actually sketch up a few things and put them up.
So here it is - A reverse progression of the Taldren LCA.
I think im going to scrap the Nacelles? you see on the bottom of the hull, and instead use the long arms as the nacelles.
Tension cables are just cool ^_^
Im probably going to add a spherical structure inside the hull that pokes out a bit, to represent the ESG -=shrug=-.

Sketch
As the image says, i drew the top-down too narrow, it will pretty much have the same dimensions as the Taldren LCA.

I like elements of them, overall I find them interesting... I am not that familiar with non-fed/kling/rom designs so I really can't judge it, but also agree the neck is the most unliked feature to me.

I really like the bows you drew! Plus keep the nacels for now, or at least make them a varient just to see how they turn out?

Ok, finally a race that I like and is mostly forgotten :P

I'd say to make the ship atleast twice as wide as on your sketches, and make the neck extend out to half way to the arms. :)

I know it need to be widened - hence the notes that say "TOO %#$% NARROW!". As far as the neck/head? I dunno I'll play with it once I model. Perhaps the CA i'll keep the head where it is in the drawing, but the CL ill lean it forwards. Or perhaps Vice Versa.

Looks cool! I'd suggest round booms and beveling the lower edge of the forward hulls (the command sections, I would assume).

Very Nice. I always liked the Lyran Ships! There fun to blow up ..er I mean I like the astectic lines they have!
