i was wondering what is the latesd version of directX ?



i check microsoft.com but there no link to directX and just a lost of weird stuff, so i return to download.com and download it the 9.0c, but its from december 2006, so i was just wondering if it the newest and if there other version of directX 9.0c out there?

its for win XP.

9.0c for XP
10 for Vista

I dont believe so.. not 100% though.
Im using
9.0c(4.09.0000.0904), and I've looked for newer versions, coming up empty, so I assume thats the latest.

Direct X 10 comes out next year it is 90c for XP.I am just wondering if or what will happen to SFC with Direct x 10?

what direct x 10 suppose to cause problem to old games??????

for the game i was talking, i remove it since its not working and they have not help me fix it.

for civ 4 m still waiting for more help, if the can help me.

DirectX 9.0c is still updated bi-monthly, the latest release is August 2007, which was released last month:

Or download the web installer, which will only download and install newer files from internet:

If you have Windows Vista, DirectX 10.1 will be included in WinVista SP1.

the only thing with dx 10 is i can run sfc3 with out the dx9 fix
im my machin is a 64 bit vista machine and it hase no probs runing sfc3 or the sfcr servers
