Remastered with new space shots and an occasional planetary terrain shot too (they had a good one of Spock's ancestral lands in Amok Time).
I just watched The Deadly Years last night and saw no less than four Romulan warbirds attacking the Enterprise with multiple F-Torps!! Too cool!!
The Doomsday Machine is on next week. I can't wait to see what they did with that one!

Most of the fx reels have been edited and posted on you tube. That's how I get to see them since there isn't a station in my area carrying it.
-
I have seen a few on TV-Land, they seem to show them on a semi-regular basis there.
-
I've seen a couple on Sunday afternoons. They look ok, I guess. Maybe it's just me but the CGI shots are extremely obvious as CGI. They remind me strongly of cut scenes from video games.
-
the deadly years just aired this weekend and there are multiple warbirds in shots and the plasma torpedoes hook on their way into the target.
-
think CBS is hosting the first run of the suped up episodes...
-
I always thought that the music from The Doomsday Machine was an underrated piece of that episode that really helped make it great.
-
Yes, and love them every Sunday nite. ;D
-
Doomsday Machine was excellent!!! Planetary debris crashing into the Constellation, The Enterprise towing the Constellation and losing it after the first attack by the beastie, the Enterprise tumbling into the maw of the beastie!!!! Good stuff Maynard!! ;D

I'm looking forward to "The Ultimate Computer" airing in February. I want to see what they do with those war games battle scenes.
I'm not rushing out to buy season one at the price they are asking, but I'll be wating for the spring release of season two.(hopefully at a better price)

Yeap I was when it wa on CM formerly UPN looks great even if I don't have an HD TV.

I got season 1 remastered for Christmas and the CGI shots do look like they are CGI but the detail is excellent and planet details look great. The quality of the regular footage has been cleaned up to an impressive level. Where no man has gone before was a little dissappointing with the CGI, but balance of terror looks nice as does tomorrow is yesterday. That's all I have seen so far.

I like it...it adds another reason to sit and watch them again... ;)

I just watched court martial and I kept rewatching the top of segments for the animations. Some really cool shots like scarring on the enterprise's hull and scorch marks where finney's tube was jettisonned, star base shuttles flying by, another connie in a slightly lower orbit and an orbiital drydock way in the background among others.

Yeah, Tomorrow is Yesterday had some good shots in it. The Sun looked flat though. The stars in the game look better LOL!
-
I am enjoying some of them now.. I've got a couple disks of the Remastered from a friend of mine.. I keep asking him to give them to me, but he refuses.. I don't blame him..
I liked them so much, I decided to change my desktop again

Did anyone see "The Immunity Syndrome" last night? I thought the Enterprise shots were very nice. The amoeba was disappointing, though. Not very different from the original. They could've at least made it a jellyish pulsating blob or something.

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed too.

Last night, I saw Day of the Dove. One of my favs. ;D

Nothing really has stood out for the last few weeks. They all look good, but there isn't an over abundance of space shots in many episodes anyway.
The Changeling and The Ultimate Computer are coming up in the next two weeks so I have my hopes up for them.
-
I'm really looking forward to The Ultimate Computer. The shots of the Enterprise beating the living Hell out of U.S.S. Excalibur should definitely be worth the wait.

I too am unable to get the remastered TOS on any channel. HOWEVER, you can dload entire episodes/seasons from itunes, for a cost ofc. They have nearly the entire first season available now, and my wife bought me the biggest ipud they got so I can dload them and watch Trek anywhere ftw!
