Since there aren't any online servers to play I thought I'd run through the old single player campaigns. So, I tried to run one. As soon as I click on New Game OP immediately crashes straight to desktop. So, this morning I completely uninstalled everything and did a completely fresh reinstall from the ground up. As soon as I clicked on New Game it crashes straight to the desktop.
And could someone let me know how the Team Starfleet Battles thing works? The missions look interesting but I can't find a Read Me for it anywhere.

Well, I seem to have found a way to access the Single Player campaign section, but there seems to be a hitch in playing the old EAW storylines. When I got into Single Player campaign the listings were for the conquest version, so I got out of the game and tried to use the batch switch to change to storyline version.
This is the message that comes up:
Sorry, You are already in storyline mode, if you want 'to' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Conversion complete, have fun.
Press any key to continue...
When I try the conquest version switch I get this message:
Sorry, You are already in conquest mode, if you want to go back to storyline, run OP Storyline Mode from your desktop.
Conversion complete, have fun.
Press any key to continue...
So....any ideas, anyone? Bear in mind this is a fresh install and no mods other than what comes in OP 4.0 have been added to it.

Did you patch the game yet? Also, I heard there can be problems installing the patches after OP+ 4.0 is installed.
I would try:
1. CD install
2. patch to 2552.
3. install OP+ 4.0
Maybe it's a problem with EAW scripts in OP? I haven't ever tried putting them in OP, so I'm not much help. The people who converted the scripts are from this site though, so maybe you could find them in the "mission scripting" section and send them a message. Good luck.

This issue is being addressed in OP Enhancement Package v5.0
Also make sure your saved games are deleted
The EAW scripts in OP is a port over (recompile) of the EAW scripts into OP format as done by Firesoul back in 2003. there are no known issues with the scripts in OP.
