I was wanting a new printer, a colour laser to be exact, and they have one I was looking at for a good price. I remember people talking about them as a good place in the past but would like an updated opinion.
Thanks.

Had no problems with them ever. I last ordered stuff from them in October of this year.
Although for printers I might look more at Officemax or Staples because printers are heavy and cost a lot for shipping if something breaks either way. Color lasers are especially heavy.

But when their price is $100 cheaper, with the shipping included, to the price in the stores, not counting taxes either, I'm very tempted.

With the exception of Hewlett Packard all the printers that I and my family have ever gotten have had the most amazing ability to break a month after they are unpacked. Never had that problem with any other equipment but printers. That's the reason I personally wouldn't trust mail orger as there isn't a store to go in and scream to get all my money back.
Just my .02. If Newegg is that much cheaper I say go for it.

would i bought 4 grand worth of computer parts from them and got them all w/o a problem be a good answer (the only issue i had was 6 months later when one of me hd's died early... no fault of newegg there)

I usually go there or tigerdirect.com

About two or three years ago I had a issue with Newegg getting my monitor out to me in the time frame that they promised. Ended up being about a four day delay. Other than that I've had no problem in the 4+ years I've dealt with them.

For colour laser printers HP is probably still the way to go. I and I would go direct. There is always catches to online discounts. You will always get the best service from the original manufacturer.

Ugh. I hate HP printers, or more precisely HP drivers. Those drivers would always create havoc with the games that I play because of the drivers contacting the mother ship every two minutes. Until HP get those drivers under control I'll never buy another their printers again. And don't even get me started on ink usage or the tiny ink cartrages that cost $50USD each. But buying direct from the manufacturer can be a pretty good idea, but its always good to shop around. The manufacturer won't always lower it's prices as fast as on line sellers.
