Does any one out there know where i can grab a copy of Max 3 4 or 5?

E-bay and Garage sales are about all that is left.

Only other chance you have is acking ppl that upgrade if you can have their old copies

And then their is a legal issue with autodesk not selling licences past the previous two versions,

why not use gmax, with the milkshape 3d tempest workaround.

gmax was in escence 3ds max 4 stripped out, and its great and free.
