i decide to play with the coloring of the original vipers from atra.

so look at it and mostly the rainbow one :)

The dark blue and orange ones look good.

In fact they look like New York State police vehicles...

... no speeder would elude them (or probably want to try, given those laser cannons!).

yeah, as in dirty em up.. and even do a little battle damage? you know what else my be cool dual stripes down the middle..  8)

well i will see if i can put another strip on the nose, as for the dirt, damage i don't know how to do that.

an easy way to do it.. is to grab a rusty texture...  go to google and type rust you should find one... then apply it as a layer in the texture and change the blending option to hard light or summat then lower the opacity, this obviously is no substitute for drawing burn and scorch marks and stuff.. but its definately a cheap good solution  ;)

here the viper with 2 line on the nose, its not going well, i will try it closer to each other and see.

as for the rust well its not doing well, if i put it on the nose it will extend too much and not look good, as for the wing well only on the top wing i could to it because it will show on both wings and not look good, for the top it will be small and not convincing.
