Aint It Cool News scored shots of shuttles, control panels, and and uniforms from the set of Star Trek XI. Paramount insisted that they remove them. However if you google this link:

and click on the cached version the images are all there for you. Don't know if I like the style I am seeing, but I am sure it will all look cooler with the proper lighting.

I saw an electric car on Discovery's Daily Planet yesterday that will be in the film.
Dang! I can't remember the manufacturers name to search for a link. It's a two passenger tricycle with a teardrop body, no mirrors (cameras) top speed of 136Km/h and a range of 120Km as I recall. Charges in 3 hours on 110v. Expected to sell for 29K. (if they are allowed to)
Ah, here they are:

I checked the cached version and it provides exactly the same version of the page as the direct link does. It's just the post describing the pictures and then an announcement that the Biggest A######s in the Universe Paramount made them take the pictures down. Way to alienate (no pun intended) your Trek fan base, guys. How about you just preface your statement next time with the phrase: "Attention, nerd virgins..."

Believe it or not Paramount has already gotten to those guys too. The pictures are down and there is a line indicating they were taken down at the request of Paramount. So I did some digging and I've got the goods. The price? Your first-born and 30 minutes alone with your significant other.

And the remaining few pictures.
