Great job, guys. The bridge is really sweet.
-
was just looking at the bridge and noticed the Plasma launcher was right above it.
You have to wonder how many of them Duck or cringe everytime they fire that weapon :D
-
wow..nice touch adding the bridge
-
Nice job with her.
The bridge seems a bit big for a ship that size though. It looks almost as spacious as a Galaxy Class Bridge, and I shudder when I think of it on a ship the size of a Galaxy.

Nice work as always Tus.

Tus is that texures on the windows or a modeled in bridge? I would sugest adding some romulans standing at there stations or something. The ship looks sweet but with an empty bridge theres no life to it. Then agian it might work for an unmaned drone ship ;D Any chance on seeing one for the fedies?
-
its a built bridge. I consdiered adding people, but it was already 700 polies to build the bridge... plus its just eye candy ;)

I'm curious about the technique used. Do you have "edges" joining more than 2 polygons? I know that would cause mesh errors, but it's the only way that I can imagine it being done and keep the model one piece.

I first had to use several slices on the window section to frame the window properly (the bottom and top frame and the bars). I then flipped the windows sections and detached them first. Next I dupilcated the frame and detached it. From there I duplicated that frame, flipped it, and resized. essentially i used those two parts to make a trough in the frame and then colored it black. From there detached the inner most part of that frame, flipped it and built the interior. Now when I welded all the points back together only the free points would connect and thus prevents errors (ie the mesh doesn't have errors because there are no two conjoining edges)

yeah, what Tus said... :o
