A "cam" video of the theatrical trailer for the new movie. Lots of action . . . http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=15645

Dang.... WHY MAY?!?!??!

Hmmm...interesting car scene at the beginning.
-
I don't know if that is a Cop chasing the young Kirk at the beginning but is that guy a 23 Century Breen?

I have to say, I like what I see, but the new E exteriors do have issues, imo, and can we please get some Romulans without forhead ridges? PLEASE!?!?!?! Still, i definitely like a lot of what I see, and really feel they couldn't have found anyone better to play Spock (although we'll have to see how he actually does, but from what I've seen of him, he's great)

If vulcans don't have them, Romulans shouldn't either. They were only there in the firstplace to tell "good vulcans from bad ones". Bad costuming decision IMO, since 'ridged foreheads' and the same color of green spaceships have been used to paint enemies of the Federation in TNG.
The hallways look similar to the circular ones from ENT... but bright and sleek. The reflective black decking reminds me of Star Destroyer interiors- which is by no means a bad thing. Looks like more of those DDs/The Kelvin get pulverized, and do the Federation have convincing starfighters now? Also looks like the Romulan craft seems more like a battles station than a traditional spaceship. I'd like to see where that goes.
The big question on my mind is: "Do all movies nowadays need a sex scene to sell?". Seriously, must all movies now have some kind of implied nudity/risque scenes as mandatory elements for a movie to be produced? I could do without the sex- the action and starships is enough for me.

Looks solid to me. Thanks a lot for the link mate.

:) They've replaced the embedded "cam" video with a link to a high res version now!

If anyone's interested, my wife's a nurse and she just treated the family member of a videographer from Paramount (can't give any names of course, confidentiality, she can't even give me a name) who says that the current Star Trek film is #1 of 5 on contract.
