Perhaps spurred by the Trek 11 ship leak, some heads at Relic Entertainment's message board decided to come together for an art thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=208054) to redesign some trek stuff.

One of the first challenges was redesigning the Enterprise. This was my take.

There's more in the thread, including some props (Phasers, Bat'leths, and so on) and alien races (there are impressive takes on the Klingons there).

The current spaceship challenge is to redesign the Vulcan ships (ENT era), but finals is getting in the way of me presenting anything.

Your Enterprise is a definite improvement over the one we're all talking about...

Enterprise or not I'd love to see some of those designs come to life.  I particularly like that new Romulan ship you got there.  Pretty, yet deadly.

Well.... I did perform a Franz Joseph on the Enterprise:

I really loved the Klingon CA and Romulan concepts.  Those are definately my favorite, especially the Klink.  For some reason, it just makes more sense to me.
