Greetings all,
Got some errors fixed on my kitbash of the USS Decatur. It and its sister ships should be ready for D/L in a day or two. Decided instead of making a lot of alternate registries, to make a few variants instead:

USS Bartlet NCC-2508... another "pathfinder" vessel and precursor to the Belknap-class, with different nacelles.
USS Emancipation NCC-2519... a light dreadnought and precursor to the Ascension-class.

And finally... because I always wanted to know what it would look like, a TOS version of the Oberth, the USS Sagan NCC-498...

I still have some textures to fix. I'll post an update and links when they're online....

The USS Sagan is up at Battlecllinic: http://www.battleclinic.com/docks/dock/4671-USS-Sagan-details.html#4671

Wow! Smart work on everything. There's not a thing that's "fanboy-ish" or ridiculious. All of it fits in the TOS scheme of things.
-
I'd love to see all four of those ships in the OP+ Shiplist someday.
The Decatur would be a great model for the F-CS
The Bartlett could be used for the F-CS+
The Emancipation would make a good DNL (I really don't like the shape of the saucer on the one that's in there now)
and I don't believe we have a model for the F-SC, Sagan would fit well.

very nice work there Keep it up

Those look like WZ's Gettysburg engines on the Bartlet.
-
They are... the "WZ-32" model. He had them on his site for one's bashing pleasure.
-
Oh yeah. I had forgotten he had them available for kitbashing purposes. They're the same warp engines.
Very nice use of them. I've tried for years to think of a use for them. You beat me to the punch.

you should put some intercoolers on the pylons because the pylons look bare otherwise.

You know, I struggled with that, actually. I tried intercoolers on the ones with the TOS nacelles and couldn't get them to look right. Something to do with the whacked out angle of the pylon. I think they look better on the Bartlet, with its more TMP styling.

I hate that Bartlet. Hate where the Ascension class and a few other designs mate the pylons with the under of the aft hull. Hate it.
Now those other ships you have lister there are awesome! OMGosh I may use that light dread for the FDNL in sfcop. Nice job!

Love it or hate it, the USS Decatur is now available for download. :)

Thank you all for the feedback and praise... it's gratifying!

(EDIT: The above URL is now correct... the original ZIP was missing a texture for the pylons-- sorry!)

Love it! Looking forward to the Bartlett. :D

I've always loved the Beklnap and it's low-slung warp engines, so I really like your Bartlet variant and your FDNL

Thanks. I need to edit some hard points on the Bartlet, then she'll be ready to post.
