Ok, so I hit the hex. Ran a patrol, ran a planet ass. NOTHING. WTF is going on? I was under the impression u'd done something neat. Was it tricking us? Why have 2 servers up? Whats the big deal about this hex?

This is a new test build of the serverkit running on MySQL:

"basically she's build 39 with the racial flavour equalisation in, rebuilt directx project, and a windows threading api fix"

plus a test fix for a wonky function in the MySQL code. I am using the Flat Out map and config as it is very stable on the flatfile.

I want confirm that drafting is still working properly and see the effects of a hex pileup. (might need to remove that planet)

I think I may have nailed it this time.

Oh yeah, I also want to see if Vista clients still lag when connected to this build. (and I have one more directx tweak to test if so)

Testing concludes tonight (tomorrow morning). The Forge stays up all the time.

Basically, I'd just like a report on whether drafting is working properly on Testeract (and Vista compat). I'm not expecting to achieve a load test this week.

Are you hoping to test client Vista compatibility or server Vista compatibility, as I think client side is pretty well decided.

I'm on a Windows 7 instal, build 7057.

Would you like me to test?

Edit:  Ok so I installed SFC OP... patched to 2.5.5.2, installed OP+, Win7 reported a compatibillity problem with The Forge Scripts, I let it reinstall with the recommended settings and it worked.

Game runs, although there seems to be a gfx driver problem the fps seem a bit stuttery, but other than that I logged onto The Forge with no problems, moved a hex and ran a patrol all seemed ok.

Some one called 42 logged on but didnt respond in chat, so I havent had a chance to test drafting.
