Title: USS Hyperion NCC-1588 TOS Escort Carrier

Based on the feedback to the USS Atlas and drydock (which I am still fiddling with, BTW)... here's another concept:  The USS Hyperion escort carrier...

The concept is that attack shuttles or fighters would launch from the aft portals on the twin hanger hulls, and would be recovered from their forward counterparts.  Right now I am scaling it as a destroyer or small cruiser, about 3/4 the length of a TOS Connie.

Should have this and the Atlas pack done sometime this weekend.

GAFY-- some good suggestions.. I spent a few hours tinkering with the textures around the shuttle hangers, and I like the longer "landing strips".  I also made the slope on aft part of the flight deck a little less dramatic... i think it helps.  Some updated pics (under extreme in-game lighting):
