Title: A fairly retarded looking Klingon scout

Something quite lightly armed and quick too but its a scout. Yeah, something of a filler ship too, one of those ancient designs from like 5 years ago that i just finished.

btw, now that some asked a while ago... yeah my klinks names are actual names/words but in finnish, slightly modified.
this ship, Ku'Rja class scout.... the word kurja = miserable.

If I recall correctly, this is an OLD design probably dating back even before the SFC1 NEW SHIPS project/website.

I've always wondered what the point in keeping the two up/down rotator mechanisms on either side of the ships one and only wing...

As a textbook kitbash it came out very good Mackie.

It's not that bad.  I've always hated the BoP.  Any change is an improvement.  I'd like a model of a fly-weight ship for every empire.  There are darned few Lyrans, Gorns, and Hydrans, not to mention the ISC!

It's now converted, just have to make sure that it's scaled properly (it should be) and will throw in some rough HP/DP'ing tonight.

I think I'm going to do myself a favour though and only do the SFC 1 and 2 versions.. I'd *like* to do SFC 3 as well, but I don't think I'm going to get the time tonight and I want to get these two out the door.  If things sit for two long these days with me doing things for my wife, then I don't get back to them.  :p

It looks like something the Internal Security Fleet ends up lumbered with. All the fancy decent up to date stuff goes to the Deep Space Fleet.

I would classify it more as a skiff due to its size and armament.

It would be suitable as a cheap build border and star system patrol vessel in the Klingon ISF, maybe as a light escort.

Lighter vessels do form the bulk of navies world wide, even today.
