Title: Can these stats be real?

iPhone users spend $6872 per month by credit card on average?

That is an incredible amount of money. I could live for a whole year on that easy.

That just can't be real. There are a lot of teenage phone users... no way they have that kind of budget. Or do they?  :o

(AKA how to get inlinks to your blog - make outrageous claims.. hmmm suppose I can give him points for that.)

I am obviously not IPhone material as my average credit card usage is less than $68.72 per month. :) It would only take a few people with extremely high incomes to skew those numbers though. Using the mean would be more accurate is less sensational.

Yeah I started thinking the same after a bit. I suppose it would only take a few ultra-rich who routinely spend millions on their credit cards monthly to make that statistic meaningless. (and I think you meant median, or mode, the mean is the same as the average)
