great work especially considering all you had were doodles and nothing solid on my part(bad Atolm).
i look forward to seeing how she handles :)

Shouldn't the back of the saucer be raised like the standard Miranda classes?

no, its not a miranda or a miranda refit or miranda dirivative ;)

Maybe not, but those long indentions look out of place on the back of the saucer IMHO without the Miranda or even a Stargazer type rear section.  I do like the aft hangar and it's overall shape I just think it needs to be raised higher.

I'm being inarticulate, sorry. I do like this and do understand it's a WIP.

Perhaps there could be a variant? It would have the added bonus of having more facilities/crew, etc.

We need more Non-Federation ships....

Having written this, I will have to say if it is a TMP era ship, it's going to be a damn shame to blow this up.

the ONLY thing I can suggest about the indents is if you notched them inward on the rim of the saucer.

Something's off about the warp engines.  The front end of the warp engines feel like they're missing something.

Looks pleasantly like a TMP era design. Phaser banks plz? :)

I wouldn't say it's a derivative of the Miranda... more like a Derivative of the Burke Frigate (if you accept such a thing in your universe, Atlom). Like a mesh between the philosophies of the Burke and the Okinawa FFs.

For some reason the nacelles seem to feel as if their front ends have been cut short or unfinished. Otherwise the rest of the ship seems to flow.

I thought that at first, too, SF, but it grows on you.
