It's the end of the world....or close to it..
GSA is down, has been all day and night, we the players are suggesting for everyone to download GameSpy Comrade....We can still chat but not in a "room" and we can still play.. it is not as efficient as GSA but it's a temporary band aid..

GSA has its moments like this I can recall a couple of these happening, it'll be back up, might be a little bit, but they'll have it back at some point.

You were right Age! A few of us tried Game Ranger tonight and it was great:
1. Unlike GSA, no silly ads that freeze the whole program
2. No fiddling to get it to work (no forwarding GSA ports or anything needed, although I think the OP ports still need to be free).
3. Just an overall clean look to the whole thing, very easy to figure out. It is also a very small/simple program.
The only trouble would be to get GSA players over, but I think that would just be a matter of time.

We had a blast last night, easy to use, no fuss, no muss......No ports..nothing.
You Download a extremely small file 112KB..fill out the paperwork...(as always :) ) confirm thru an email.. and your in..
You make a room, up to 6 people to a room..(the limits of OP), room host then can launch a game...in 33sec, your at the join screen and in the game.. AVG pings were around 19.
Right now I have a static room made called ShadowDivers OP, and within it I can host up to 50 secondary rooms of 6 people each.
Please everyone help me get this message out to everyone ASAP, we no longer have to be dependent on GameSpy for are SFC needs.
also it can run XP, Vista and 7 no problems. not to mention SFC1, 2 and 3....it was great to play SFC1 last night!
Who ever is the top dog around here :) you should really please take a look into this gaming site..

Who cares.........really now, with all this trouble we've been having logging in and out, remaking rooms, foul language and the likes
Who really wants to go back! I for one am not going back...
But I have noticed that a few people have, because they don't come to GameRanger anymore....
If that's what they want to do, well I can't stop them...and if no one comes to GameRanger to play....well I can't do anything about that either can I....
I guess its bact to the ol AI for me.. :) :)
