Time for two movies that changed how films where made, to go head to head.
Giant Dinosaurs and a little girl hacker who couldn't figure out a flashlight
Vs.
Trinity, the hot lady who when asks for lights from Apoc, well, Push pull interior / Exterior.
Matrix (1999) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133093/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133093/)
vs...
Jurassic Park (1993) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107290/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107290/)

Matrix. JP was more fantasy with a drop of "science fiction" thrown in.
-
The "little girl" hacker, was a boy in the book, and that made sense.
Flipping the gender of that character, just for political correctness's sake, left a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't see the poll option, just the post. Is it me, or the original post?
edit: it was me. being dense.

I'll say Jurassic Park even though the dinosaurs should have been fluffy.

The problem is, I'm having trouble separating the Matrix from its sequels which made me wish I had taken that $#$(ing blue pill. Also, alot of the appeal that the matrix had at the time was its completely unique special effects look, which has been done to death by now. While I didn't care for JP 3, it was still better than Matrix Revolutions.

The Matrix, separated from all related material, is actually a good film. I gotta go with it.

Any film that makes one question their perceptions is good sci-fi in my book.
Matrix ftw.

I preferred the 13th floor to the Matrix myself.

Matrix is more plauseable. :crazy2:

I have my doubts that the human body can be caused to generate more power than is consumed in maintaining it. I also doubt that in restarting such an environment over and over that it would end in essentially the same way each time.
