... and I babbled like a freaking newbie to my potential boss and had a hard time keeping my eyes focused upstairs on the hot HR rep. Would have been merciful if my necktie had been just a little tighter and killed me.
Now I have to go back for the 4 hour tech testing to see if if I can add and subtract, breath and walk.
Damn you BRAC commission. I had grown old and comfortable at Ft Monmouth. I'm too old for this sh*te.

Nick, I totally understand...I've had to interview for this same job four times in 17 years..I have over 35 years of experience calibrating test equipment, and they still insist on a resume and interview everytime the contract comes up for renewal...
Good luck, and remember, E=I*R ;D

Good luck on the job. I can sympathize as I had an even longer gap between interviews.
Best of luck.

10 years at the Fort and the first and only interview was conducted on my commute back from my other job where I worked in sweats and sneakers. Never had another interview or provided another resume after that even though we switched contract companies 3 times.
Thankfully no formulas or calculators were needed. If I get the job it will be a 25% reduction in pay but its available and my commute would drop from 40 minutes to 5. And they actually uttered the words "contractual over-time pay"; been a long time since I heard that.

Nice Description!
Interviews make me crazy - they are always so surreal to me.
Main reason I'm at the job I have now (9 years) is because I hate interviewing so much - and it looks like I better get back in practice before the other shoe drops around here...
Good Luck on getting the job!
