I recently figured out how to get my old copies of SFC1, SFC2:EAW and SFC:OP working on my Mac using Wineskin. Hooray!
Even better, I see that the SFC2:EAW missions were made available for SFC:OP. This makes me very happy.
Now my questions: Were the SFC1 missions ever ported to SFC:OP? If so, where are they? If not, can someone explain to a non-programmer why not?
Thanks!

I haven't heard of this being done. OP is an expanded version of EAW, so converting an EAW mission to work in OP only requires redirecting it and taking the expanded components into account. The difference between SFC1 and 2 is much more significant, and would require a complete rewrite of the mission. From there, the missions would have to be play-tested and tweaked. I'm sure somebody like "Evil Dave" has the talent, but time and inclination are another matter. I think most of the community with that type of talent are still involved are working on making a version of EAW that will get through firewalls. You are not the only one that would like to play those mission in EAW or OP.

I was excited by the fact you got SFC working on a mac (I need to have one for work purposes) but sadly, wineskin requires a newer OS than my Tiger. Poo. But if I upgrade later this year I'm certainly going to try this out, thanks for the tip
