I hope that link works. Anyways, 91 years old, and one of our greatest writers.

Link worked. A severe loss to the literary world but an amazing legacy of work.

I read a story about him once where he was called in to flesh out a short story into a full movie script.  He apparently quietly said something like "I can't do it as you haven't yet bought the rights of my story".  The movie backers had all thought one of the others had done so (and not realized it was his story).  In the end he sold them the rights and wrote the script.  He acted as a gentleman and everyone won, many would have been asses about it and everyone (except the lawyers) would have lost.

R.I.P. Ray.

I was able to see sf author John Scalzi at a book reading last night, and he chose to start off by reading Bradbury's "There Will Come Soft Rains," probably my favorite short story of his (and most haunting). Very moving.

You will be missed Ray. Thanks for everything.
