From what I heard and checked, Star Trek the Best of Both Worlds is getting the theater treatment at Cinemark theaters in the US on April 25th. Anyone going?
-
I'm lucky enough to have my choice of 2 theaters to go to, and plan on meeting a bunch of other fans there. Looking forward to seeing the remastered version, and any extras also shown

Wait, Star Trek fans were weird? How can that be? :D
I've just started doing the "MeetUp" thing in the past year - the Dr Who meets I've done have been a blast, hanging out at a bar talking interdimensional. This'll be my first Trek Meetup, but through a latticework of coincidence, I am now the organizer for my local group. I'll see if'n I can make ours cooler...

I hope this screening brings in more money than anticipated. It will really be a good way to spit in Abrams' face.

For those that live north of the 49th.

It is a lot farther to go where I live now.

Boy I'd love to go, but unfortunately I'm leaving on a work trip that evening. :( Wish they could just do it on a weekend.

Hopefully it will do well enough to make them reevaluate the directions they have been taking with Trek recently.

wow, just a fun event, such a great episode and the extras they also screened, a interview reel and some bloopers, added to it greatly. Sorry if any of you had to miss it. The theater I aws at, and the one across town, both sold out. Take that, JJ!

Loved the part where Elizabeth Dennehy says that she still remembers her exact line and recounts it for us. Lmfao. Hilarious!! Everyone busted out laughing.
That was amazing! 23 years later and she nailed the timing of that line against the original shot!

I was there, had to change seats (they have reserved seating) since the person should have gotten two seats who was sitting next to me. I had no arm rests, and no leg room...so I switched seats to the very front. That was pretty awesome with the Enterprise D on big screen right in fron of me.
